Blame It On the Name
Wan-Ek Phromchotikul. I realize I'm reacting as an untraveled Anglo-American hermit, but wow. Very nearly Lovecraftian.
And then there's the storybook rhyme of Callie Sallee.
Linda M. Tardy, and I don't care if it's because she missed her bus.
What kind of surname is Officer? I can't help but think of Catch-22. "Officer Officer, arrest this man."
Aaaand, the Boston variation: Mallad.

That reminds me of Lt. Murtaugh, from Family Matters. You know, the Urkel show. One bit went something like this...
"Lt. Murtaugh, you know, I've never learned your first name."
"It's Lieutenant."
"What?"
"I had it legally changed."
"So you're Lieutenant Lieutenant Murtaugh."
"Affirmative."
"What was your name before?"
"Sergeant."
Ha!
